About the Role

As a Customer Engineer at Foresite, you're not just designing systems—you're building security fortresses at scale. Responsibilities:

Design and Deliver: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Google SecOps solutions, tailoring architectures to meet the unique needs of each client.

Bridge the Gap: Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that security solutions align with client objectives and risk tolerance.

Guide and Mentor: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to clients and internal teams, sharing your knowledge and expertise to empower others.

Innovate and Optimize: Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and approaches to optimize security architectures and drive innovation.

Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with clients, engineers, and sales teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.

Be a Thought Leader: Stay ahead of the curve in security, contributing to the development of best practices and thought leadership within Foresite.

Identify and Qualify: Work with Security, Business, and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical and compliance objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.

Demonstrate and Validate: Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in customer and partner environments.

Support and Own: Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concept, and demos to customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Craft and Deliver the Message: Prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to highlight Google's solutions value proposition using techniques including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response documents.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience selling security consulting services in a cloud computing environment, or equivalent experience in a similar customer-facing role (e.g., within a professional services, solutions architect, or systems engineering team).

Experience in cybersecurity technical solutions: SIEM/SOAR (EDR, XDR), Threat Intelligence (threat detection, malware intelligence, attack surface management), Cloud Security (CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, or identity and access management systems).

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, exhibiting a strong willingness to learn new technologies and engage in positive, collaborative interactions with both internal teams and external customers..

Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, email security, etc.).

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in writing technical documentation, including SOWs.
