Telepharmacy Technician

Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Telepharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Technician) based out of Evanston, IL at Westminster Place. This is an onsite position, not remote. 

 

Position Details:

• Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM
• No weekends.
• Works Independently, utilizing telecommunications software.
• Highly competitive compensation

This position also comes with a $1,000 sign-on bonus!

 

Responsibilities

This position will handle all tasks involved in operating a small retail telepharmacy including receiving of prescriptions from customers, order entry,  

• Receive prescriptions from customers and identify all information required for processing.
• Accurately transcribe new verbal prescription orders, clarifications, and refills.
• Register new patients into the pharmacy operating system.
• Fill prescription according to label while following defined telepharmacy steps of taking pictures of bottles, barcodes and pill images.
• Greet patients upon arrival and retrieve completed prescriptions upon request.
• Order inventory for pharmacy based on demands and various available reports.
• Deposit daily cash according to defined procedures.
• Deliver prescriptions to resident's apartments located within the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Pharmacy Technician License and Certification (CPhT) as per State requirements (required).
• Minimum of one year pharmacy technician experience.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
