Job Summary
Summary<br>Responsible for operating a cash register to compute and record items purchased by customers<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Responsible for cash in own register. Runs registers. Accepts monies and returns correct change. <br>-Cashes-out at end of shift to ensure register drawer balances with tape amount. Provides quick, accurate and complete transactions. Counts and balances daily sales receipts. Processes credit card transactions. <br>
-Greets customers and responds to inquires. <br>
-Assists with inventory management. <br>
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- PC based cash register skills.
- High level of customer service.
- Accuracy in making change, ringing, and balancing drawer at end of shift.
- Able to refer problems as necessary.
- Comply with security procedures.
