Project Overview:
Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world.
Job Summary:
The Integrated Water Management (IWM) Project Controls Supervisor will be responsible for cost engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control, and planning/scheduling activities for the Cardinal project. Successful candidate will lead a team providing cost estimating, analysis, and control activities and schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery plan development activities, with a focus on the Water Treatment Areas. Leads the preparation and presentation of on-project estimates and cost forecasts. Supports project organizational and administrative activities. Provides generally non-routine cost engineering, planning, and scheduling, and commercial guidance. Identifies, analyses, and provides innovative solutions to problems. This position will be based at the site in New Albany, Ohio.

Major Responsibilities:
- Supervises project control activities for the Water Treatment Areas. Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities.
- Provides comments and recommendations for cost engineering and scheduling requirements relative to staffing and project control.
- Interfaces with designated Bechtel management and client counterparts for specific project controls presentations.
- Reviews project work activities to ensure support of project milestones. Coordinates and establishes scoping requirements for the overall cost estimate, and coordinates the timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
- Participates in discussions with contractors.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises project cost budgets.
- Defines project needs for cost control in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures. Supervises the timely performance of cost control activities and preparation of cost trend estimates in support of project cost trend programs.
