The Vice President, IT Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and driving innovation to align IT strategies with business goals. The VP of IT Operations plays a pivotal role in building resilient, scalable systems, maintaining cybersecurity, and fostering a high-performance IT culture.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute the IT operations strategy to align with Corient’s overall business goals and objectives 

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.  

  • Drive initiatives for workforce development, succession planning, and employee engagement within the IT organization.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to understand business needs, identify technology solutions, and ensure IT delivers measurable value to all users 

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Corient’s IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.  

  • Optimize the use of cloud computing to achieve operational excellence.  

  • Ensure systems uptime, disaster recovery capabilities, and business continuity through proactive monitoring and response.  

  • Oversee IT service delivery to meet organizational and end-user needs with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.  

  • Design and improve ITSM documentation and processes for effectively managing all technology standards. 

  • Administer and support Microsoft Exchange environments, including Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server, managing mail flow, user accounts, permissions, and troubleshooting mail-related issues.   

  • Deploy, configure, maintain, and secure SharePoint Online, developing and managing SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows to enhance team collaboration.   

  • Administer Office 365 tenant, including user provisioning, license management, and service configurations, while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Office 365 services and applications.   

  • Configure, monitor, and manage Commvault backup and recovery solutions, developing and implementing data protection strategies and disaster recovery plans.   

  • Ensure data integrity, perform regular backups, and manage restoration processes.   

  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for end-users and IT staff regarding Exchange, SharePoint, Office
