Position Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and flexible PRN Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery team. This role will work across Pre-Op and PACU/Recovery, providing safe, compassionate, and efficient care to orthopedic patients before and after their procedures. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and enjoys being part of a strong, positive team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to outpatient orthopedic surgical patients

• Complete patient assessments, IV starts, and medication administration

• Monitor patients throughout recovery and ensure safe discharge

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and ASC staff

• Support a smooth and efficient daily workflow

• Maintain excellent patient communication and experience

What We’re Looking For

• Current RN license in the state of Utah

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (PACU, Pre-Op, SDS, ER, ICU, or similar preferred)

• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work confidently and efficiently in a fast-paced orthopedic environment

• Team-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working PRN/flexible shifts
