The Senior Corporate Communications Manager (US) manages/leads development and/or execution of plans/programs/projects/strategies by designing and delivering communications consistent with TD’s corporate standards and strategies, and in support of business results.
TD’s Corporate and Public Affairs (CAPA) U.S. team is responsible for building and enhancing TD Bank’s employer and corporate brand, increasing awareness of TD’s products and services, protecting the bank’s reputation, and elevating the expertise of TD’s leaders, internally and externally.
We do this by playing a critical role that directly influences business outcomes through strategic counsel, high-impact brand positioning, results-focused initiatives, and message development and communications best practices that deepen engagement with our customers, colleagues, communities and each other.
The Senior Regional Communications Lead based in Philadelphia will drive proactive storytelling, media engagement, and reputation management across our priority markets, ensuring alignment with TD’s national and regional business goals. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to regional presidents, market leadership, and business heads, shaping localized strategies that deepen community presence, highlight social impact, and strengthen client and colleague engagement. The role demands close partnership with Public Affairs and Government Relations to ensure consistent, coordinated storytelling and to maximize TD’s visibility and influence across all external stakeholders.
Depth & Scope:
Oversees multiple and/or complex communications projects/programs/strategies that may impact several businesses/product lines
Recognized as top level communications expert within the organization and requires significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas
Role requires substantial integration of projects/programs involving significant scope, strategic impact and complexity
Role requires substantial relationship management breadth and influence in leading strategic initiatives, planning and/or integrating executional activities
Integrates knowledge of the enterprise function's or business segment’s overarching strategy in leading program design, policy formulation or operating standards within one or more areas of expertise
Anticipates emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements
Serves as a source of expert advice providing leadership guidance to senior management in field of specialty
May lead team(s) of related specialists/experts
Advises on execution strategy and leads the development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives within their own field or across multiple specialties
Solves unique and ambiguous problems with broad impact
Requires innovative thinking to develop new solutions
Impacts the technical or functional direction and resource allocation of part of an enterprise function or business segment

Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
10+ years relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of multiple communications disciplines, media channels, internal/external audiences, public relations, cons
