What You Will Do:
- Interpretation and application of Enbridge engineering standards, State and Federal regulations, industry codes, and industry recommend practices.
- Ensure region input is provided to all project teams executing work that will impact operations through each phase of the project including design, construction, commissioning, and transition to allow seamless project integration.
- Coordinate with and provide single-point-of-contact function on all Liquids Pipeline Engineering, Pipeline Integrity, Facilities Integrity, Operations Services, and other internal departments’ activities in the Great Lakes Region.
- Participate in regulatory audits and review regulator initiatives for implementation.
- Provide positive leadership to staff to enhance safety culture and coaching on operations, maintenance, and reliability excellence across the region.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program with minimum 7 years’ experience
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate at all levels in the organization to gather information and promote improvements. Experienced in advocating for improvements.
- Experience with operations and maintenance of a liquid pipeline system.
- Proven ability to initiate and manage change, be innovative, think strategically, and work well with teams.
- Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to criminal check, company sponsored medical and drug testing.
- Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Working Conditions:
- Office Environment –80%, Field Environment – 20%
- Frequent travel to field locations and company meetings within Canada and United States.
- High level of support delivered to regional staff, internal departments, and internal committees.

Physical Requirements (Office) include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
