Job Details
Collaborates with management, academic faculty and staff to support Thomas Jefferson University's philanthropic priorities. Maintains an active portfolio of new prospects and existing donors encompassing the full donor cycle of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, gift closure, and stewardship. Responsible for meeting defined metrics and goals annually including number of proposals presented and funded, meaningful donor encounters, and dollars raised.Job Description
- Maintain and manage a portfolio and communicate with alumni, donors and friends of Jefferson (phone calls, in-person meetings, emails) in a manner that fosters a relationship that leads to a philanthropic commitment.
- Through internal meetings and faculty relationships, develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs and priorities of the various colleges and programs to articulate compelling cases for philanthropic support.
- Work with OIA centralized teams such as Communications, Events, Research, Annual Fund, Planned Giving, to advance donor relations. Maintain proactive communications with colleagues to ensure effective collaborations and synergy in achieving key fundraising goals and objectives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years experience in frontline fundraising.
- Superior interpersonal skills and a capacity to engage, inspire, and persuade both internal and external constituents.
- Experience with database software systems/CRM and Microsoft Office.
- DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania, NJ or DE
