Position Overview
NTG is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support the growth of our federal business and develop partnerships across various industries. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business growth, be highly organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification & Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze multiple IDIQs, RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and Task Orders (TOs) to identify viable opportunities for NTG.
- Provide summaries and recommendations to leadership on bids to pursue.
- Maintain a database of opportunities, ensuring the pipeline is up to date and aligned with company goals.
- Proposal Development & Support:
- Collaborate with the proposal team to assist in the preparation and submission of RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and TOs.
- Contribute to writing, reviewing, and editing proposal sections as needed.
- Ensure compliance with proposal requirements and deadlines.
- Business Development Activities:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and business partners.
- Support efforts to identify and engage potential new partners and federal clients.
- Represent NTG in meetings, conferences, and other external engagements as needed.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle administrative duties related to business development, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination.
- Assist in maintaining business development tools, such as CRM platforms or SharePoint lists, to track activities and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with NTG’s operations and engineering teams to gather information required for proposals and customer interactions.
- Work closely with leadership to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Preferred), Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or government contracting.
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes (RFQs, RFPs, IDIQs, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with SharePoint or proposal management tools is a plus.
