<h2>JOIN THE TEAM</h2> <p>BASF Stationary Energy Storage GmbH (BSES) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BASF SE. BSES is the exclusive distributer of the NAS® batteries and co-develops the NAS® technology together with its Japanese partner NGK Insulators Ltd.</p> <h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2> <p>In this responsible position you will serve as first contact point for all electrical engineering topics in our NAS team. </p> <ul> <li>This includes all electrical issues beyond the DC block of the NAS battery, i.e. connection to low/high voltage grids in field installations, transformer and inverter layouts, but also practical issues from field experience of NAS installations as fuse design concepts. </li> <li>You will also be embedded in our global structure of NAS battery development to address electrical engineering topics into the battery R&amp;D roadmap as electrical connections of cells or supporting the optimization of the battery management system.</li> <li>You will coordinate closely with the internal global teams for technology and R&amp;D, project execution and external collaborators.</li> <li>In addition, you will represent the global technology function with focus on electrical engineering in interdisciplinary teams and you will promote the cooperation between the marketing, sales and R&amp;D departments.</li> </ul> <h2>QUALIFICATIONS</h2> <ul> <li>completed studies in electrical engineering</li> <li>solid background in mid/high voltage electrical engineering topics and a good overview in the field of battery technologies or energy storage applications</li> <li>background in electrochemistry, industrial production and materials science is an additional plus</li> <li>deep knowledge in project management and the technical understanding to grow into fields which are beyond your current horizon </li> <li>analytical and strategic thinking</li> <li>excellent communication in English and in German</li> <li>social skills, to build strong networks and to get involved with international teams and cultures</li> <li>capable of completing successfully even controversial issues together with your partners and hold course in situations of uncertainty</li> </ul> <h2>BENEFITS</h2> <ul> <li>Inspiring networks for the development and implementation of your ideas (e.g. Women in Business)</li> <li>Mentoring programs and learning opportunities for your professional and personal development</li> <li>Career paths as professional development to other positions in the company (including job rotation)</li> <li>Support with childcare (e.g. company daycare, holiday programmes)</li> <li>Fitness and health studio, medical care center with numerous offers for your health</li> <li>Deutschlandticket as a discounted job ticket, job bike<br/>  </li> </ul> <h2>ABOUT US</h2> <p>Do you have any questions about the application process or the position?
