Overview
Under leadership of the General Manager, the Purchasing and Warehouse Manager is responsible for all inventory, ordering, receiving, managing requisition process, setting PAR levels in coordination with Department heads, organization of warehouse(s), storage, equipment maintenance and the creating a safe work environment. The Manager also ensures staff adheres to the ethical standard of purchasing and responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of warehouse and purchasing operations.
This role will pay a salary of $75,000 to $80,000.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for purchasing all food, beverage products and equipment brought into the venue.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Also resolves problems and identifies warehouse system improvements.
- Develop and maintain bid-processing system on ongoing basis for all items.
- Implement purchasing procedures according to company policies and practices.
- Moves inventory to and from warehouse and coordinates inventory transfers with all departments.
- Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and properly transferring items.
- Maintains storage area, organizing floor space and adheres to storage design principles.
- Maintains inventory by conducting daily/monthly physical counts, reconciles variances, and inputs data.
- Utilizes Inventory System to record and track inventory flow between departments and perpetual inventories.
- Works with all departments on monthly inventory.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Responsible for the selection of suppliers.
- Monitor location compliance or warehouse local health department inspections
- Maintains professional business partnerships and communication with all suppliers and vendors.
- Provide training and mentoring to staff and managers.
- Ensures all company and venue safety procedures are strictly followed.
- Maintains par level on all stocked items and maximizes inventory turn.
- Review all department requisitions to ensure proper purchasing quantities and products.
- Inform departments of changes in market conditions, prices, products in season, etc.
- Reviews integrity of ingredient inventory database to ensure accuracy on a regular basis.
- Prepares purchase orders and enters merchandise arrivals.
- Maintain purchase order approval level according to policy.
- Supervise uniform, linen laundering and inventory program.
- Maintain all equipment warehouses and inventory management.
- Responsible for recruiting, orienting, and training warehouse staff.
Qualifications

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ management experience in the Purchasing and Warehouse management preferably in sports and entertainment.
