The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Key Account Quality Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Developing business with leading key electronics OEMs through role of product specification manager
• Working with existing and developing technology to apply to new customer solutions
• Supporting key account business and technical by developing and supporting product specifications from idea to mass production.  Work in tandem with key account sales and application engineering on design specifications to align with pricing and volume strategy. 
• Developing data base strategy to manage pricing and specification revisions
• Supporting the customer facing side to integrate activities of functions across application engineering, sales, product development, manufacturing, operations, finance and leadership
• Meeting and negotiating with customers to balance customer requirements with 3M risk, cost, capability and capacity

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Ten (10) years of combined experience in quality, manufacturing and/or product/process development in a private, public, government or military environment
• Three (3) years of experience working with product specifications

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in working with consumer electronics customers
• Experience in working with managed documents and databases, such as specification and pricing plans
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience on working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in working with New Product Development and Commercialization Teams
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working on Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction projects
• Experience leading or participating on cross functional teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Work Location: Maplewood, MN

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international
