EY- Planning Functional Consultant – MENA ERP (SAP PP) – Senior

 

As part of our GDS MENA ERP team, you will need to perform various SAP implementation & support activities, such as pre/post go live implementation support, enhancements requirements study and its implementation support as well as other consulting activities

• Actively participate in entire life cycle of SAP plan to produce implementations like design, estimation, development, documentation, testing and take ownership wherever required
• Collaborate with experts, architects, leads and project managers to ensure highest standards of delivery within the stipulated timelines
• Work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions, while at the same time, work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design

• Engage with the customers during different phases of product development to ensure success of the project
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to relate technical issues to a business audience.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP as functional consultant with good exposure to SAP PP module
• Good working knowledge in Production Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Master planning, Materials and Requirements Planning, Production orders, Repetitive manufacturing, Production Planning for Process Industries, Plant data collection, Integrated Product and Process Engineering, Production Planning Detailed Scheduling
• Experience in designing and configuring Production Planning sub modules with also experience in cross module integration like PP-QM, PP-CO. PP-MM, PP-PI and PP-PM
• Strong Experience in PP master data along with MRP
• Must have hands on experience supporting an environment integrated with an MES - design of operator dashboards to support various activities performed by shopfloor personnel
• Working knowledge of planning functions in PP - Demand management, MRP, Capacity planning and scheduling
• Working knowledge of variant configuration and engineering change management and how it influences manufacturing
• Must have experience in supporting a technical team in the creation of custom enhancements in ERP for the shopfloor execution process - custom function modules, programs, labels and prints etc.
• More than two full cycle implementation experience in S4HANA Plan to produce modules
• Good understanding of business processes & workflow in the areas of Finance & Accounts.
• Industry experience in Oil&Gas is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, IT Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow) and Testing tool - HP ALM will also be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP QM modules is a plus
• Ability to quickly understand customers business requirements and to generate, promote new and creative ideas
• Ability to work as an independent consultant in project as well as leading a team
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implement latest technologies
