Transportation Analyst

Our client, a global leader in the consumer health/ pharmaceutical arena has an immediate need for a Transportation Analyst for a six month contract role to help support activities pertaining to the organizational and system separation of two divisions, specifically, in the area of Regional Transportation Management.

The Transportation Analyst will partner with Company IT Team and Operation Teams to capture business requirements and execute system updates & changes.

He/She will execute transportation system and process deployment and change management activities including, but not limited to, training, testing, and documentation.

He/She will create and maintain project plans/schedules through engagement with Company and external 3PL and 4PL partners.

The Transportation Analyst will also ensure effective and timely communications regarding project schedule and risk management with key customers and partners.

Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred

A minimum of 2-5 years overall business experience is required, preferably with a focus in Transportation, E2E Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, Information Technology or other related areas

Proven success working in a complex, highly matrixed, global organization with rapidly changing priorities and tight timelines

Knowledge of global transportation industry and freight forwarding network is preferred

Past experience managing projects and system roll-outs is preferred

TMS (Transportation Management System), XPS, JIRA, API solutions and/or related technology experience is desired
