Marketing and Image Assistant

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing & Image Assistant to support our marketing team and help keep our visuals on point. This onsite position is a great fit for someone who loves to be involved behind the scenes in photoshoots and enjoys perfecting images in post-production.

From steaming garments and prepping for photoshoots to assisting with general marketing tasks, you'll play a key role in helping our in-house and freelance photographers capture our products in the best light-literally and figuratively.

You'll also be responsible for editing and retouching photos, making sure they're picture-perfect for e-commerce, print, and digital platforms. Additionally, you'll handle basic product laydown photography as needed.

In addition to photography and image work, you'll support the marketing team with various hands-on tasks, such as cutting postcards and business cards, assisting with mailings, sorting catalogs, and other marketing duties as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS | Prep + Edit + Capture + Support

• Steam garments, gather products and props to ensure smooth and efficient photoshoots
• Use photo editing software to retouch, color correct, and enhance photos after they've been taken, ensuring they meet brand standards and are optimized for various platforms (e-commerce, print, digital)
• Capture basic product laydown shots, focusing on consistency and quality
• Export, file, and organize all images following company guidelines and established filing systems
• Ensure all images are edited to align with brand standards, maintaining consistency in lighting, color, and style
• Work closely with the Marketing Image Manager and marketing team to ensure smooth workflows, from preparation to post-production
• Assist with general marketing tasks such as cutting postcards/business cards, preparing mailings, sorting catalogs, and more as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS | Efficient in Editing + Eye for Details + Team Player

• College degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Arts, etc... or 1-3 years of experience working in a professional photography setting
• Experience editing and manipulating photos utilizing a strong knowledge of and high proficiency working in Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premier Pro
• A basic understanding of photography is important, but this role focuses on assisting rather than full-time photography
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working on both Mac and PC platforms
• Must have an impeccable eye for color, design composition, perspective/angles and layout
• Keen attention to detail and a strong ability to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative, working independently while bringing creative ideas to life (#meritocracy)
• Highly organized with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively with others
• Adaptable multitasker, capable of balancing various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Versatile in managing tasks, from preparing for photoshoots to handling post-production edits efficiently
• Clear and effective communicator, both in writing and verbally
• Proactive team player, always ensuring that reps and team members have the tools and materials they need to succeed
