Business Analytics Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Analyst for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow. Identify possible technology solutions and provide insights to enhance business decision-making capabilities in business planning, process improvement, and solution assessment within the business testing area. Recommend actions for future developments and strategic business validation opportunities as well as enhancements to pricing policies. Perform exploratory technology analysis, confirmatory analysis, and qualitative analysis. Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, and improving pricing strategies with a focus on validation. Analyze and process data and provide solutions to optimize business operations. Remove bottlenecks by using quantitative approaches to deliver projects within assigned deadlines. Evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact where development of an approach or taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation analyzing and processing data. Five (5) years of experience must include: Utilizing descriptive statistics and database technologies to analyze and transform data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies while ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives; Utilizing operating systems such as Linux/UNIX or similar platforms to enhance processes for fault diagnosis, minimize implementation time, and optimize workflows; Conducting risk assessments using root-cause analysis to identify, document, and mitigate potential impacts on business decisions with actionable control measures, adhering to established deadlines; Investigating and resolving data discrepancies to achieve business objectives, enhance performance metrics, and drive measurable improvements in overall efficiency; and Collaborating with internal & external business stakeholders/technology partners to address the timely completion of collaborative tasks within agreed-upon timelines, thereby facilitating successful project implementation. 40 hrs./wk.
