Our Opportunity Summary:

As the leader of the Demand Management group, you will be responsible for handling the company’s Demand Forecast in the execution horizon and constraining the plan to available supply. You will lead a group of demand planners and demand analysts and will be charged with:

What’s Encouraged Daily:

• Leading the day to day plan demand through alignment with Sales, BU and Supply Chain Planning
  • Working with business owners (sales, BU and CBO/corp strategy) to understand demand drivers and have those reflected in the plan
  • Work closely with the S&OP team to make sure the company demand plans are cohesive between the execution horizon and the longer term planning horizon.
  • Work with supply chain planners to understand constraints and align the demand plan to the constraints (die and back end)
  • Build tools and processes for efficient alignment of the existing bits plan to requested changes
• Drive the demand alignment in the execution horizon for the company Integrated Business Planning process:
  • Own the S&OE forum (in collaboration with CBO) as part overall IBP
  • Lead all updates of bits for the business plan according to the IBP calendar
  • Partner with S&OP and CBO on the quarterly Business Plan reviews
  • Align the bits' plan into the monthly FP&A process and quarterly RSV process
• Facilitate company analytics for the demand forecast
  • Help develop and handle the roadmap for statistical forecasting and AI based analytics tools
  • Develop tools for business partners to highlight gaps in the bits business plan
  • Develop predictive analytics and forecast certainty tools to help with overall planning processes

How To Qualify:

• 10+ years of semiconductor proven experience in business, finance, or operations
• Minimum Master or Bachelors’ degree in STEM fields
• Good knowledge of Micron’s products, technology, market segments, and competition
• Broad experience interacting with cross functional partners across the business
• Past experience must include executive level presentations and ability to influence cross functional partners
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as written and verbal communication skills; proficient with RapidResponse Kinaxis a plus
