You’ll be part of key projects that integrate software with our lithography machines and help us deliver precision solutions.</p><p></p><p>In this role you’re continue developing your skills by working with a team of experienced professionals, by learning from your peers, guiding engineers in development of specific part or module and contributing your expertise to help solve complex problems<b>.</b></p><p></p><h2><b>Role and responsibilities </b></h2><p>As Senior Python Software Engineer, you will work on the development of Metrology software that drives the operation of our lithography systems. You will design software that collects and analyzes measurements with high speed and precision. You will optimize existing software, create new tools, and collaborate with engineers to integrate software with lithography systems.</p><p></p><p>As a technical leader, you’ll mentor other software engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and promote collaboration, shaping the technical vision and strategic direction of our software.</p><p></p><p><b>You will also:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Design and Develop Software:</b> Create high-quality software that allows the fast and efficient delivery of Metrology functions, ensuring high performance and accuracy.</p></li><li><p><b>Code Optimization and Maintenance</b>: Refactor and debug existing software to enhance performance, stability, and scalability. </p></li><li><p><b>Source Code Development:</b> Quickly produce well-organized and documented source code in Python, adhering to best practices and coding standards.</p></li><li><p><b>Tool Creation and Documentation:</b> Develop and document software tools required by architects or other developers, ensuring their usability and clarity.</p></li><li><p><b>Debugging and Feature Enhancement:</b> Debug existing source code and refine feature sets to improve software quality, reliability, and performance.</p></li><li><p><b>Technical Documentation:</b> Contribute to orchestrating the behavior of mechatronic modules through Metrology software, ensuring smooth operation within ASML’s machines</p></li><li><p><b>Metrology Software Integration:</b> Orchestrate the behavior of powerful mechatronic modules through Metrology software, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Education and experience </b></h2><p>To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes.</p><p>As <b>Python Software Engineer</b>, you’ll need:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's or Master’s degree</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge and practice of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, reviews source code management, build process, testing and operations.</p></li><li><p><b>At least 8 years of experience in software engineering (Python), and related libraries</b></p></li><li><p>Experience with debugging, testing, and improving existing software systems.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with creating technical documentation and software tools.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of software integration with mechatronic systems (preferred).</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Skills</b></h2><p>Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that.
