Currently, Avint is seeking a motivated, career and team-oriented Senior Cyber and Network Architecture SME.
Position Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate tasks for the Systems Interoperability and Integration Engineer SMEs, Cyberspace Defense Analysis Multi-Domain Cyber Security SMEs, and work with other SMEs as needed in the execution of Divisional technical execution needs.
- Shall have comprehensive knowledge and be proficient in understanding policies and procedures related to Cybersecurity as defined in DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, DoDI 8510.01.
- Help develop division scope of work alignment with actionable recommendations based on industry best practices and reference Systems Design and Architecture.
- Act as the SME for Hybrid and multi-cloud compute and store roadmap to assist in operation of unit in both connected and disconnected states.
- Shall perform work that involves the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization.
- Shall have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of systems architecture and engineering principles as well as a knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force to provide systems engineering support, as outlined in Defense Acquisition Guidebook Chapter 3, in support of furthering system mission capabilities.
- Shall support and develop technical reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e., TEMs, MARs, etc.).
- Must be able to support technical program management reviews and senior level meeting/reviews.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of multi-MAJCOM stakeholders, at the classified and unclassified level, to determine specific technical needs and requirements and present technical solutions to include oversight and task execution utilizing leadership, teamwork, and diplomacy and senior levels of the organization.
- Shall be able to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks, representing the voice of the Chief Engineer in his absence.

Qualifications:
- Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered an expert in cybersecurity and network architecture and possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within these disciplines.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cybersecurity and network architecture disciplines as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in these areas.
- Possesses experience in identifying technical acquisition strategy issues and proposing alternative solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Possess proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Experience with an ACAT I, or equivalent, level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
- Experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
- Experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs as well as the ability to visualize and understand complex requirements and interdependencies of a wide variety of ACAT I programs and IT infrastructure.
