Who We're Looking For

Position Description: The Associate General Manager acting under the direction of the General Manager, will assist in a variety of administrative, hospitality and staff management related tasks. 


Responsibilities:


Daily Business Operations:

  • Manages all resales and leases. Primary contact for all resale approvals. Tracks and electronically stores copies of all resales and leases. Creates monthly reports for Board Meetings.
  • Manages availability, leases, payments, and resales for units. Creates monthly reports for Board Meetings. Assures taxes are paid yearly.
  • Manages Delinquency and Collection process. Communicates back and forth with the Delinquency Coordinator and Legal.
  • Forwards invoices in Strongroom.
  • Reviews monthly financials, work directly with the accountant on discrepancies, and complies Variance Reports from all departments.
  • Assist General Manager in managing and creating budgets.
  • Complies content for weekly resident memos.
  • Assist in RFPs and Bid Gathering when needed.
  • Oversees purchasing and codes monthly credit card statements.
  • Other  duties as assigned.

Governance:

  • Assists in preparing Agendas and assures they are posted in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing Board Packages and makes sure of delivery to all Board Members.
  • Attends and takes minutes at Board and Committee meetings.
  • Assist GM with Annual Election.
  • Assist GM with the mailing of Annual Budget/Mailing

Personnel:

  • Coordinates staff events, including monthly all-staff meetings and holiday parties.

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College Degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to successfully and communicate with and serve a community.
  • Compassionate and meticulously organized
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of staff and residents
  • CMCA/CCAM/AMS and/or other related industry designation preferred
  • Knowledge of basic association CC&R's, By-laws, and Articles of Incorporation with ability to read, understand, and implement said guidelines
  • Knowledge  of accepted management practices and procedures, building and grounds maintenance requirements, personnel development and administration, and  budget and finance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer abilities to navigate our care systems, as well as the Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic data-entry and typing skills
  • Basic mathematical abilities
  • Stable employment record
  • Regular, predictable attendance
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a respectful and positive manner
