Position Details: Term: 3-6 month contract-to-hire Location: onsite in downtown Manhattan (most likely potential for hybrid down the road).Hours: Mon-Friday standard business hours Hourly pay + benefits. Up to $67.31/hr on contract. $150-180K range as perm hire. Our healthcare client in NYC is looking for a dynamic Cloud Financial Operations Lead to join their team. What you'll do as the Cloud FinOps Lead The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Liaison with engineering and finance teams.
Leverage tools including Data Dog, Splunk, Elastic, Snowflake
Manage cloud cost optimization, allocation and mapping.
Manage Yotascale cloud cost management & mapping tool.
Monthly consumption reviews to discover optimization areas, cost management.
Work with AI teams at Flatiron on estimation of new projects and management of associated AWS pricing.
Also responsible for managing all RFPs for IT at Flatiron.
Manage 100 software vendors for renewals, pricing negotiations.
Leverage Tropic tool for renewals and negotiations with software firms.
Possible Supervisor to 1 direct report, for IT asset management

What you'll bring to the table:

Bachelor's Degree in related field. Master's degree preferred or 8+ years experience in IT Operations, Cloud Ops.
