POSITION DESCRIPTION: Position will create complex reports and regular datasets or report information using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts; integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements; program complex report forms and formats, information dashboards, and data generators; develop specifications for reports based on business requests; use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways; work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; network with key contacts outside own area of expertise; generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts; create specifications for reports based on business requests; and, determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, or a related field plus three (3) year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include the following: • Demonstrable experience using SQL and Python; • Demonstrable experience using Hive, Snowflake and ETL management tools; • Demonstrable experience with A/B testing and perform statistical analysis; • Demonstrable experience with data visualization (Tableau, looker, and PowerBI); • Large scale web click stream and user funnel analytics; and, • Working knowledge of data modeling techniques (regression, and machine learning).
