We are seeking a Manager, IT Network Infrastructure to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion in our Houston, TX office. The role is 100% onsite.

Job Description

In this critical role, you will guide the IT Network teams across multiple locations to support our dedicated employees effectively. The Manager, IT Network Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in accomplishing both strategic and operational goals, ensuring the quality, productivity, and functional excellence of daily activities within the department.

What you will be doing:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure networks, including LAN, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud platforms.
• Manage daily work activities for the IT network team, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Handle employee management, from recruitment to performance evaluation and professional development.
• Supervise Managed Service Providers and maintain relationships with both onshore and offshore resources.
• Plan and execute technical projects, aligning stakeholders to complete within budget and scope.
• Monitor networks for performance and handle P1 and P2 escalations.
• Develop and oversee budgets and forecast future needs.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for optimal technical solutions for business initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Profound understanding of enterprise networking, network monitoring tools (specifically SolarWinds), and cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze current and new technologies and present them to non-technical leadership teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certifications such as GCP Cloud, CompTIA, CCNA, VCTA-NV

Tools:

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
• 10+ years of relative technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 8 years of managerial and leadership experience in an IT environment

Additional Information

BLEND360 offers a comprehensive relocation package for qualified candidates.

The starting pay range for this role is $140,000 per year - $150,000 per year. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
