Nutrition Team Lead

The Nutrition Team Lead must be able to communicate effectively in relaying information to team members, team leads, supervisors, and managers as applicable. The Nutrition Team Lead must be able to understand the requirements of the position and perform basic math skills. Must understand S.O.P’s, GMP’s, and Safe Work Practices.  The Nutrition Foreperson must have good working knowledge of all Nutrition Department systems.  Foreperson will provide training for new employees on equipment operations, pumps, valves, GMP programs, inspection programs, and safety policies. The Nutrition Team Lead is required to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and management within the Nutrition Department and other departments.  The Nutrition Foreperson must have strong time management and organizational skills.  The job requires the safe handling of hazardous chemicals in a hot/humid/noisy work environment.  This position requires an understanding of the normal operational parameters of all data documented on the operator log and what actions need to be taken if outside the normal operations.  The Nutrition Foreperson is required to have a successful understanding of the process flow for each operation.  Physical demands include being on feet entire shift, walking, climbing steps or ladders, making pipe connections, lifting equipment parts, lifting lactose and WPC bags.  All other duties as assigned.
