We are currently recruiting for a Process Manager to join us at our Severnside Dairy

 

 

Job Purpose:

Site responsibility for all movement and processing of liquids, Clean in Process (CIP's) controlled by Scada software and advisor for site in relation to health, safety and environmental.

 

 

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Location: Severnside

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all movement of fluids from cream intake to cream aging, butter milk and evaporator.
• Responsible for all CIP’s controlled by Scada- CIP in line with company best practice, handling and use of chemicals ensuring health and safety is uncompromised, interpreting scada data to ensure adequate cleans in preparation for production
• Development of process experts through ongoing coaching, training, development and feedback. Developing deeper understanding of cream processing and the overall operation ie trained in valve knowledge (identification, operation and basic maintenance)
• Creating clear succession and development plans- create a talent pool of process experts as process is the science behind what we do.
• Converts and interprets ‘process top loss’ data analysis into improvement projects- makes decisions by data, can lead improvement projects and implement 100 year fixes.

 

Requirements:

• In depth knowledge of dairy processing and intake
• Strong knowledge of pumps, valves and industry standard instrumentation
• Detailed understanding of CIP best practice Strong Knowledge of OpEx tools & techniques IOSH Managing Safety
• HACCP Training SCADA Knowledge

 

Desirable:

• Basic understanding of Engineering and Automation principles
• Good understanding of dairy micro analysis, knowledge of autonomous maintenance and CMMS
