Full Position Salary Range: $89,934.27 - $113,926.04
Starting Pay: Although our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for new hires is $89,934.27 - $101,930.15
Schedule: Full-Time; 1.0 FTE; Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.
Snapshot: In a given day this person can expect to perform one or more the following:- Be onsite at one of our 5 procedural abortion sites providing direct training support to RN staff.
- Working remotely on maintaining program or staff tracking documents or updating material.
- Providing virtual support and facilitation in several of our clinical training programs.
- Training in ultrasound or supporting preceptors.
Staff support and abortion programmatic support will require patient-facing duties. Hours for direct care to be determined based on need and budget. Frequent travel required, up to 30%.
Our Ideal Candidate: You have a current Colorado or New Mexico state RN licensures (with eligibility to obtain licensure in both states) and are an level 2 RN, 3 years of clinical RN experience, with experience in abortion care. You are able to perform and instruct on ultrasound skills. You thrive in a protocol based clinical care system and are comfortable with electronic health records. You would like a position that requires occasional travel by plane and/or car. You enjoy training others and teaching them new things. You have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
Primary Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:
1. RN Training Program Management
- Assists in the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of PPRM’s RN orientation and initial training program, including EHR functions, consistent with objectives defined by clinical leadership.
- Participates in the creation, implementation and continual revision of training curricula
- Facilitates additional RN trainings as requested by clinical leadership
- Assists Clinical Quality and Risk Managers in the delivery of PPRM’s continuing education and professional development opportunities for RNs upon request
2. RN on-site Training
- Trains PPRM RNs in provision of clinical skills and documentation in Electronic Health Record.
- Assists with training interventions to support RN or LAM staff with performance improvement needs under the direction of clinical leadership
- Proctors RNs on new services.
- Other training duties as assigned
3. US Program Management
- Manages the ultrasound training program; may act as an ultrasound trainer and preceptor.
- Manages the scheduling and training of US preceptors with support from CT Training Specialist
- Maintains documentation on Par levels and keeps stakeholders in the loop with progress to goal
- Manages US program applications
- Conducts US stakeholder meetings
- Develops curricular materials to support ultrasound training across the agency in collaboration with clinical leadership
4. Professional Development and Employee Experience Support
- Orients LAMs to RN evaluation process and instruments
- Manages the RN preceptor program
- Manages the US Preceptor program
- Under the direction of the Ultrasound Program Medical Director, provides ongoing professional development support to US trained staff and US preceptors by hosting preceptor calls.
5. General Duties, Logistics and Admin support for Clinical Training Programs
- Supports PPRM staff in Abortion Care and Abortion Expansion initiative.
- Acts as a liaison between the health centers and the Medical Services Department.
