Job Description

Your Career 

You will work with a team of amazing IoT device identification and security professionals to help identify, monitor and protect the ever growing number of Internet of Things devices in our vast customer base. This is one of the fastest growing area of cyber security today and we offer a great opportunity to help shape this relatively new landscape and make a real impact in securing the future of IoT.

Your Impact

As a senior level IoT security software engineer, you will

  • Analyze network traffic to extract patterns for device identification in IoT networks
  • Design and implement new approaches to IoT device visibility
  • Design and develop IoT security engine software in our cloud-based software components
  • Research Network Protocols and IoT Devices
  • Collect and analyze network traffic
  • Support customer trials
  • Lead and coordinate projects
  • Drive innovation and refactoring efforts

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • A degree in Computer Science or similar fields or equivalent military experience required
  • 7+ years of work experience in the networking domain
  • Good understanding of networking protocols: TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ARP,  HTTP, HTTPS, etc.
  • Good programming skills with Python, C++/C, or Java
  • Experience with TCPDUMP, Wireshark or similar packet inspection tools
  • Experience with Network device discovery tools preferred
  • Familiarity of cloud technologies is a plus
  • Experience with with any of the following a big plus: DS/IPS, Application based firewall, Security vulnerability detection and monitoring, Client device signature, or Malware attacks
  • Good communication skills, creative thinker and team player
  • Curiosity and passion about Computer Networking and Security
