Position Summary: 

Receive, check-in and handle product in a timely and safe manner to optimize business savings, improve efficiencies and help achieve the business’s missions and goals. 

Essential Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned) 

• Assure the work cells are properly stocked with raw materials to assure continuous production in all work cells. 

• Receive and check-in of raw materials, purchased stock and finished items, equipment, supplied and returned goods. 

• Check received goods to purchase orders or receiving slips as to identification, type, part number, dimension, size, weight, and general quality. 

• Inspect goods received for damage from handling and transit. 

• Deliver materials to storage or manufacturing areas. 

• Be responsible for keeping the receiving docks and aisles clean of materials as received so as not to impede upon further arrival of materials. 

• Drive and unload box truck (if/as needed).

Qualifications:

• 3 years of forklift driving experience 

• Strong safety record 

• Basic Computer skills 

• Attention to detail 

• Ability to follow directions 

• Ability to understand/communicate basic English  

• Regular and consistent attendance

Physical / Mental Demands:

• Ability to lift, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
