The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), along with hands-on training in:

π POSITION SUMMARY
-
Assist in preventative and ongoing maintenance of the Center facility, grounds, and systems.
-
Basic knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical is a plus!
-
Work alongside Maintenance Helpers and interact with third-party contractors.
-
Check the maintenance ticketing system to ensure tasks are completed within 3 business days.
Schedule: MondayβFriday, 7:00amβ4:00pm
π· MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

May supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning students assigned to maintenance for on-the-job training.
β‘ RESPONSIBILITIES

π§ Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility/building systems
-
π Inspect work of other maintenance personnel
-
π¦ Research & recommend equipment replacements
-
π· Oversee training activities of students in maintenance
-
π Supervise outside contractors as needed
-
β Conduct periodic inspections of building systems & equipment
-
π Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance vocational training program if applicable
-
π Complete work orders timely
-
π Provide student transport as necessary
-
π Maintain attendance, accountability & productivity
-
π Plan, prioritize & organize assignments effectively
-
π Mentor and model Career Success Standards

π€ Show respect & hold students accountable for behavior

π Ensure quality services for students; pursue improvements

π£ Communicate clearly; provide timely info to DOL/Company

π§© Identify problems, analyze causes, evaluate solutions, and follow up
