🌳 ABOUT WOODLAND AND JOB CORPS CENTER

The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), along with hands-on training in:

• Electrical Wiring

• Carpentry

• Building Construction Technology

• Culinary Arts & Advanced Culinary Training

• Hotel & Lodging

We also assist students with job placement upon completing their educational and career technical training.

📋 POSITION SUMMARY

• Assist in preventative and ongoing maintenance of the Center facility, grounds, and systems.

• Basic knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical is a plus!

• Work alongside Maintenance Helpers and interact with third-party contractors.

• Check the maintenance ticketing system to ensure tasks are completed within 3 business days.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm

👷 MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

• May supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning students assigned to maintenance for on-the-job training.

⚡ RESPONSIBILITIES

• 🔧 Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility/building systems

• 🔍 Inspect work of other maintenance personnel

• 📦 Research & recommend equipment replacements

• 👷 Oversee training activities of students in maintenance

• 🛠 Supervise outside contractors as needed

• ✅ Conduct periodic inspections of building systems & equipment

• 🔄 Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance vocational training program if applicable

• 📝 Complete work orders timely

• 🚗 Provide student transport as necessary

• 🕒 Maintain attendance, accountability & productivity

• 📊 Plan, prioritize & organize assignments effectively
