Position Number: 123750 Position Title (Classification Title):  Lecturer in Nursing 123750 Working Title:  Lecturer in Nursing Job Summary: This 12-month position will primary be assigned to the pre-licensure nursing program and will teach in classroom, online, and clinical settings. The position responsibilities include use of technology in the classroom and online, and teaching students in a broad range of clinical settings that align with the faculty member’s expertise. The appointee engages in teaching, service, and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure. This position may also teach in other School of Nursing programs as assigned. Department Nursing FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Holds at least a master's degree in nursing. Experience supervising and teaching pre-licensure students in the clinical setting. Must obtain or have a clear unencumbered Florida Nursing License upon hire. Position Qualifications: Experience in one of the following: acute care setting, community health, pediatrics, or mental health nursing. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate preferred. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:

Number of Vacancies 1 Work Hours Varies based on teaching and/or clinical assignments. This position could include assignments on evening and weekends.
