Your responsibilities

 

We are seeking a motivated and talented college intern to join our IT department for the summer, working as a member of the Trading Operations & Technology team in North America (Houston).  Our IT department plays a crucial role in supporting our business operations and driving technological advancements.  This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of IT, including coding, infrastructure management, and technical support.

 

Responsibilities may include:

Assist in developing and maintaining software applications.

Participate in coding projects using languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

Support infrastructure management tasks, including network configuration and server maintenance.

Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot IT issues.

Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives.

Document processes and create user guides for IT systems.

 

This is a paid opportunity based in Houston, which will require at least 3 days per week of in-office work, on a full-time basis for the summer of 2025.  Relocation and housing support are not available for this role, and local candidates are highly preferred. 

 

  

Your profile

Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of programming languages (Python, Java, C#, etc.).

Familiarity with network configuration and server maintenance.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Good communication skills, self-starter, team player, critical thinker, organized
