The role

This role will allow you to be the subject matter expert at Stansted regarding Cabin and Baggage maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and the reliability and accessibility of the assets. Your key areas of responsibility are as follows:

• Delivery of major maintenance and support capital projects
• Ensuring key maintenance across baggage and security assets is carried out consistently 
• Keeping method statements and risk assessments up to date
• Proactive problem solving as the subject matter expert 
• Provide training and guidance to continually develop the skill sets in the wider engineering team

What will make you successful in the role?

• HND/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• NVQ3/4 in Electrical, Electronic or Systems Engineering
• Flexible and assistive attitude 
• Basic IT skills
• Prior experience in Airport Baggage engineering
