On the other hand, it allows us to learn and work with the latest and most exciting technologies available on the market.</p><p></p><h3><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h3><ul> <li>Establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Indicators (SLIs) for all services, implementing the concept of error budgeting.</li> <li>Upgrade the monitoring capabilities across all services to enhance observability.</li> <li>Develop tools and automation strategies to eliminate repetitive tasks and decrease operational burdens. Formulate and implement frameworks, processes, and best practices across 360dialog Engineering.</li> <li>Streamline 360dialog engineering procedures through automation, aiming to reduce risks and accelerate innovation.</li> <li>Design and oversee Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable software builds and deployments.</li> <li>Employ Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with the development team to integrate operational best practices and reliability into the early stages of software development.</li> <li>Lead initiatives in containerization and orchestration to enhance service scalability and manageability.</li> <li>Manage and optimise Google Cloud services, including Cloud Run and Cloud Functions, ensuring efficient operation and leveraging serverless architectures for scalability.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years experience in an Devops or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role</li></ul><ul> <li>Proficient with advanced monitoring tools to ensure system performance and availability.</li> <li>Expertise in Python for automating tasks and developing tools, enhancing operational efficiency.</li> <li>Demonstrable experience in managing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software deployment processes.</li> <li>Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure management; familiarity with Terragrunt is highly regarded.</li> <li>Experience with Google Cloud is preferred, though proficiency with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is also valuable.</li> <li>Solid experience in Docker and Kubernetes for efficient container management and service orchestration.</li> <li>Ability to work seamlessly with development teams, advocating for SRE principles and DevOps practices.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills for effective troubleshooting and system optimization.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, adept in Agile methodologies, promoting effective team collaboration and project management.</li> </ul><p></p><h3><strong>Bonus points</strong></h3><ul> <li>Terragrunt Knowledge: Candidates familiar with Terragrunt will have an edge.</li> <li>Software Engineering Foundation: A background as a software engineer is highly valued.</li> <li>Professional Certifications: Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, Terraform, or cloud-related are a plus.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Here’s an opportunity to shape a whole new industry in the conversational messaging business.
