Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is looking for a Registered Nurse to provide care to our employee owners and their family members. As an RN with us, you will collaborate with our health care team to empower patients to manage their health conditions. The ideal candidate will help promote and facilitate wellness programs as part of a care team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Understand and utilize basic nursing theory and knowledge of clinical standards to provide nursing care to patients while acting within the scope of practice and collaborating as a health care team member.
2. Perform telephone and face-to-face triage for patients with new or concerning medical issues.
3. Manage patient flow; provide first aid; assist with procedures; and perform intake assessments, blood draws, vital signs, injections, and other relevant procedures to ensure that patient care is safe, timely, efficient, and effective.
4. Assist in providing health education and support to employees under the direction of a licensed provider.
5. Document, process, and maintain medical records and reporting in a responsible, timely, and confidential way.
6. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State of Washington and/or Idaho
At least two years of clinical experience as an RN in a primary care, urgent care or emergency department setting
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Pay range for position is $25.58 - $38.37. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
