Senior Software Engineer – Data Governance & DevOps Support

<h3>Descripción del puesto / Funciones</h3> <ol><li><p><strong>Lead data governance initiatives</strong> within AXA Partners' central data management team.</p></li><li><p><strong>Drive the rollout of AXA Partners' Data Quality framework.</strong></p></li><li><p>Support the <strong>implementation and enhancement of Data Management KPIs</strong> and related activities.</p></li><li><p><strong>Guide 50 Technical Leads</strong> across different teams to implement DevOps automation processes.</p></li><li><p><strong>Set up one-on-one meetings</strong> with each Tech Lead to explain the required steps.</p></li><li><p><strong>Instruct them on how to provide evidence</strong> of task completion (e.g., screenshots, data logs).</p></li><li><p><strong>Follow up with each Tech Lead</strong> to ensure implementation is completed.</p></li><li><p><strong>Collaborate with the DevOps Lead</strong> to resolve technical issues as needed.</p></li><li><p><strong>Track progress and report regularly</strong> to ensure timely completion by all teams.</p></li></ol> <h3>Ubicación</h3> <p>Remote</p> <h3>Requisitos mínimos</h3> <ul><li><p><strong>Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer</strong> designing complex solutions across diverse systems.</p></li><li><p><strong>Strong understanding of software architecture patterns</strong> and <strong>SOLID principles</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>Extensive experience using GitHub Copilot</strong>, including a critical evaluation of its pros and cons.</p></li><li><p>Ability to <strong>write usage guidelines for GitHub Copilot</strong> and advise on best practices.</p></li><li><p><strong>Familiarity with Azure DevOps.</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills: <strong>effective communication, autonomy, persistence, and proactivity</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Must be <strong>based in Barcelona</strong> or able to relocate.</p></li><li><p>Availability to work <strong>on-site at AXA offices (c/Tarragona, 161) every Wednesday and Thursday</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>Immediate availability (ASAP).</strong></p></li></ul> <h3>Requisitos valorables</h3> <ul><li><p>Experience in <strong>data governance or data quality KPI projects</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ability to <strong>coordinate technical teams without direct authority</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Experience in <strong>training and individually supporting technical profiles</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong skills in <strong>documentation and reporting</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with <strong>corporate environments in the insurance or financial sectors</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>Local residency in Barcelona</strong> or surroundings.</p></li></ul> <h3>Idiomas</h3> <p>English Fluent</p>
