About the Senior Income Tax Accountant role
We are currently looking for a Senior Income Tax Accountant for our income tax team in the company headquarters in San Francisco, CA. The position reports directly to the Senior tax manager in charge of income tax compliance and provision. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and energetic, confident, respectful and works well both independently and within teams.
*This role requires you to be onsite most of the week at either our San Francisco office or our San Jose office.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Utilize technical tax knowledge, including current developments, to accurately and timely satisfy federal, state, city and franchise tax return reporting responsibilities.
- Prepare federal, state and local estimated income tax payments, annual extensions and income tax returns.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and year end income tax accounting under ASC740, including prepare FIN48 schedule, disclosures and footnotes.
- Assist with federal, states and local income tax audits.
- Assist with research, analysis, and interpretation of new or revised federal, states and local tax law changes and evaluates organizational impact.
- Perform timely resolution of correspondence and notices from income tax authorities.
- Identify and implements process improvements to better leverage department resources.
- Work on special projects as assigned.

We’re excited about you because you have...
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or advanced degree.
- CPA or Master’s degree in taxation strongly desired.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax compliance and provision of a public accounting firm or a global tax team of a publicly traded company.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
