About the Role
Our People and Culture team at Allianz Services is looking for an African Talent Acquisition Hub Lead to lead and further develop our Talent Acquisition delivery across Mauritius and Morocco.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating the global Talent Acquisition strategy into regional execution excellence, ensuring scalable, efficient, and candidate‑centric hiring solutions aligned with business needs.
You will act as a regional thought partner for business leaders and People & Culture stakeholders, while building and leading high‑performing Talent Acquisition teams across the African hubs.
The role reports into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding and works in close collaboration with global and local People & Culture leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously develop the Talent Acquisition hubs in Mauritius and Morocco, covering all seniority levels and functions across Allianz Services
- Translate the global Talent Acquisition strategy into a regional execution roadmap aligned with market dynamics, workforce needs, and growth plans
- Ensure high‑quality, timely, and cost‑effective hiring outcomes across the region
Operational Excellence & Process Ownership
- Act as regional process owner for Recruiting, ensuring adherence to global standards, governance, and functional rules while allowing for local market adaptations
- Drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience
- Ensure strong collaboration with HR Services and other recruiting service providers where applicable
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, People & Culture Business Partners, and local HR leads in India and Malaysia
- Proactively consult, challenge, and support stakeholders on hiring strategies, workforce planning, and market insights
- Represent the Asia region in global Talent Acquisition forums and initiatives
Data‑Driven Talent Acquisition
- Leverage system data and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for improved recruiting effectiveness
- Define and track regional KPIs (e.g. time‑to‑hire, quality of hire, candidate experience)
People Leadership
- Build, coach, and inspire high‑performing, diverse Talent Acquisition teams across the region
- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience:
- Successfully completed university degree, preferably in business administration, (economic) psychology, HR, or a comparable field
- 6–10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing recruiting operations in India and/or Southeast Asia; Malaysia experience is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end recruiting processes, governance, and operating models in a shared services or global environment
- International experience with high intercultural awareness and sensitivity
- Strong conceptual, strategic, and analytical thinking skills
- Advanced project management and change management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Strong IT skills, especially MS Office and SAP SuccessFactors
- Fluent in English; additional regional languages are an advantage
