Where the chemistry happens…

 

The project leader supports the US Crop & Seed Treatment businesses by ensuring that operations is ready to produce and launch new products, third party projects, country extensions and manages the changes for existing products.

Leads a cross functional team, identifies relevant roles for each project, develops the execution plan, looks for opportunities for scope optimization, assigns actions, prepares for, and leads project meetings, and partners with the sponsor and other stakeholders to deliver the project successfully and on time.

Initiates change requests, ensures completeness of actions, leads lessons learned discussions & plans and maintains project execution records.

Influences project stakeholders, understands, and manages customer expectations, removes barriers, communicates project status, identifies the risks, and opportunities and coordinates decision making on countermeasures or mitigation strategies.

 

As a Product Launch Specialist, you create chemistry by…

 

  • Defining project scope in collaboration with the launch manager, creating Gantt charts, assigning tasks to members in Azure DevOps, scheduling meetings in Outlook, properly preparing for kick-off and subsequent meetings, updating meeting notes and distributing to members, per operational readiness team launch framework, to complete project on time and according to goals.
  • Completing or participating in pre-ORT activities as defined by launch manager and creating and maintaining launch dashboards in PowerPoint and MS teams to keep sponsors up to date.  
  • Creating management of change request in Track wise database per APT/QA procedure to ensure completion of Regulatory & Compliance actions.
  • Following up on launch actions and managing changes requests and closing projects per launch framework and training new hires in Azure DevOps database used for launches.
  • Escalating, resolving issues, and ensuring proper decision making to remove roadblocks and minimize impact to the project.
  • Completing lessons learned, developing improvement plans and ensuring execution and improving overall launch processes.

If you...

 

 

  • BS degree and 8+ years overall experience in technical, engineering, project management, supply chain or related areas.
  • Have experience collaborating with teams to enable project completion, with competing priorities and uncertainties, in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Can identify interdependencies of tasks, define proper workflows, priorities, create Gantt charts, keep the pulse, escalate issues, and close the projects and ability to independently lead cross functional discussions driving solutions of complex problems.
  • Have experience in conflict resolution and problem solving, you will identify and resolve issues and risks and minimize impact to the project team.
  • Have effective communication skills will serve you well as you provide key updates to project sponsors and key stakeholders, unwavering commitment to health and safety will be evident.
  • Have effectively manage multiple stakeholders and projects outside your technical expertise and strong presentation skills and demonstrated strategic thinking.
