Maintenance Mechanic

Parallel Employment is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Fort Atkinson, WI. This individual will work closely with the maintenance team and collaborate with the product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required. Two years of recent experience is preferable but not required.

Shift: 2nd shift opportunity (ideally, this person will be able to complete most of training on 1st shift) 3:30pm to 12:00am.

Wage: $20.00 or doe.

Requirements

The Maintenance Mechanic role will preform duties such as repair, set up and maintain machinery, in a contract packing manufacturing environment to include but not limited to : case erectors, case sealers, case printers, shrink wrappers, building maintenance and mechanical equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Mechanic:

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Prepares reports documenting work preformed.
• Cleans organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools and supplies.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements test runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
