Raytheon is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our Patriot System Integration & Test team in the Air Defense and Command & Control Department. SI&T engineers are responsible for integration and system level testing of complex radar systems, identifying and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level integration, verification and validation.
What You Will Do
- Prepare testing planning documentation, such as plans, procedures, integration information sheets, or verification information sheets.
- Execute testing in simulation and tactically representative environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Analyze data for hardware, software and simulations.
- Utilize data analysis results to support issue identification and resolution.
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
- This role may require travel between Massachusetts sites and southern New Hampshire. This role requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience with software, hardware, integration, verification, validation and/or test.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
- Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
- Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures or technical reports
- Experience with DOORS
