Job Description

This is an awesome opportunity for motivated and curious individuals to gain valuable experience in analytics and data science within the agriculture industry. Interns will work alongside a diverse team of experts to apply data driven approaches to address challenges in development of new seed products.

Accountabilities

  • Contribute to projects under the guidance of senior members of the Analytics and Data Science team
  • Perform tasks to support objectives of the Analytics and Data Science team, which may include: a) design, development, and maintenance of analytics platforms and solutions, b) development, validation, and deployment of analytical capabilities or metrics, c) performing analyses to answer key questions
  • Specific assignments will be based on organization needs and intern interests and skills
  • Live by, and contribute to, functional best practices

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in a scientific discipline related to analytics, data science, agriculture, or related fields
  • Knowledge and practical application of one more programming languages, such as Python
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Curious and passionate for learning
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
