Join Poplar Springs Hospital: Inpatient Medical Physician (Psychiatry Services) - Petersburg, VAPoplar Springs Hospital, a leading provider of psychiatric and addictive disorder treatment in the Richmond, VA area, is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine trained Inpatient Medical Physician to provide essential medical services for our inpatient psychiatry patients. Located in Petersburg, Virginia, our facility offers a serene environment on 25 acres of natural setting. The hospital welcomes applications from Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Hospitalist physicians.  Responsibilities:An Inpatient Medical Physician at Poplar Springs Hospital will:

• Conduct medical histories and physicals for inpatient psychiatry patients.
• Provide consultations and follow-up care.
• Oversee Nurse Practitioners (NPs) involved in patient care.
• Focus on addressing the medical aspects of psychiatric patients, complementing our psychiatric care team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience or strong interest in Behavioral Health.
• Ability to work a full-time or part-time schedule with day shift hours.
• Availability for weekend call once per month.

Compensation & Benefits:The hospital offers a highly competitive compensation package, along with full benefits for full-time positions.
