We’re looking for an experienced Staff DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a Staff DevSecOps Engineer, you should be able to build and maintain infrastructure as code on large scale multi-site deployments. You will utilize your experience to evaluate and assess new ways to scale platform capabilities. You will be able to automate workflows to help push the limit of the infrastructure and enable continuous delivery of capabilities onto a hybrid infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues until root causes are understood on high traffic production systems, participate in design and code review processes, interact with product owners to coordinate infrastructure changes and be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and improving performance of the platform.
What we are looking for:
- Eight-plus (8+) years of experience working in Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Five plus (5+) years, building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across hybrid-cloud infrastructure
- Five-plus (5+) years experience with Cloud service monitoring like Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD, ElasticStack, Prometheus, SumoLogic, etc.
- Five-plus (5+) years in configuration / package management experience using tools like Terraform, Helm etc.
- Five-plus (5+) years experience building and maintaining Elastic clusters on top of Kubernetes
- Five-plus (5+) years experience with log aggregation tools such as Elastic Agents, Logstash, or Loki and formatting logs to Elastic Common Schema
- Ability to assist with GitLab CI pipelines (build/promote artifacts and security scans)
- Exceptionally proficient (knowledge and work experience) in Linux system administration
- Experience creating automation using APIs from AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Able to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
Highly preferred:
- Solid understanding of writing custom Helm Charts
- Experience with Big Data such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Cassandra
- Polyglot experience using a variety of programming languages and their package managers/dependency managers such as Maven, Gradle, NPM, and Yarn
- Proven experience with Istio service mesh
- Experience with supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
- Passionate about building automation in languages like Python, GoLang, or Typescript
- Certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance

- May require up to 10% travel
Salary Range:
- $120,000 - $190,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
