About the Role

As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced Residential Service Electricians to assist in diagnosing, repairing, diagnosing, and installing electrical systems in residential homes. You’ll gain real-world experience, develop your technical skills, and receive guidance to help you progress toward your journeyman license.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues such as outlets, switches, panels, and lighting.
• Support the repairs and installation of home electrical systems, including smart home technologies.
• Help maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and safe manner.
• Observe and follow all local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Learn proper documentation practices for job notes and customer interactions.
• Take part in ongoing training and mentorship from experienced electricians.

 What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of electrical experience preferred (trade school counts!)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass drug screening 
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent attitude and customer-first mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, crawling, kneeling).
• Comfortable working in varied environments, including attics and crawlspaces.
• Exposure to electrical components and outdoor weather conditions is part of the job.
