Clinical Lead RN Schedule

• 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
• Every third weekend and holiday required

Clinical Lead RN Responsibilities

• Functions within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, utilizing recognized standards of clinical practice as defined by the State of Minnesota
• Assists the short-stay Case Managers in the clinical flow of the floor
• Assumes facility-wide supervision as assigned to manage staffing needs and provide clinical support
• Completes daily rounds on all residents to perform follow-through assessments
• Assesses/manages wounds and ensures documentation/status reports are completed
• Assists with physician orders and manages admissions/discharges on short-stay households
• Performs IV management, blood draws and Mantoux skin tests for new employees

Clinical Lead RN Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse who is in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification
• Must demonstrate ability to perform necessary responsibilities of the position
