About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:
Senior Principal pressure vessel engineer for projects located in both domestic and international markets. The assignment is in the Technip Energies Houston operating center.
Job Duties:
- Capable of acting in the Lead role on a project
- Develop the scope of work for PDP, FEED, and detailed engineering projects.
- Assist with the preparation of Mechanical manhour estimates for proposals.
- Develop material requisitions for pressure vessels (columns, drums, reactors)
- Develop vessel specifications and/or review client specifications.
- Produce vessel calculations and mechanical datasheets.
- Review and manage submitted vendor drawings and other documentation.
- Provide engineering support by answering technical questions and requests.
- Identify scope changes or deviations and notify project team.
- Ensure conformance to applicable government regulations, engineering codes and standards as well as company QA system, policies, and procedures.
About You:

- BSME or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in pressure vessel field.
- Experience reviewing specifications, performing equipment selections, performing mechanical Code calculations, producing requisitions, performing technical bid evaluations, and reviewing vendor documents for pressure vessels such as drums, columns, and reactors.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME BPVC is required.
- Working knowledge of API 579 “Fitness for Service” and associated standards and guidelines as they pertain to pressure vessels is required.
- The ability to evaluate pressure vessels in both grassroots and brownfield applications is required.
- Knowledge of pressure vessel internals is required.
- Software knowledge should include PVElite or Compress and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional licensure in Texas and Louisana.
