Student Worker - CSET - Engineering Lab Assistant (FWS)

The purpose of this position is to assist the College Engineering, and Technology with administrative duties related to the maintenance of labs. This position will work in and around the Engineering labs.

Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

• Assisting lab staff for the preparation of labs.
• Assisting with up-keep and supply monitoring for the labs.
• Must follow all proper safety guidelines and instructions.  
• Keeping the labs presentable.
• Testing labs.
• Restocking supplies.
• Completing tasks as assigned by the lab staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
• Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering program of study.
• Ability to set and follow a schedule.
• Must be able to comply with safety protocols (training will be provided).

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. 
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements. 

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
