The Role

You will be quota carrying and responsible for managing a sales pipeline, working with prospects from initial qualification all the way through to signing. Additionally, you may contribute to impactful projects to improve our best practice tactics as we continue to grow. This is an opportunity to develop alongside a growing company. Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through a mix of inbound and outbound strategies (cold calling, email outreach, networking events).
  • Qualify leads and identify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) to ensure a strong sales pipeline with a specific focus on the Americas region.
  • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition to potential customers.
  • Negotiate and close deals, securing contracts and exceeding assigned sales quotas.
  • Onboard new customers and ensure successful product adoption.
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing ongoing support and exceeding expectations.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, maximizing customer lifetime value.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Contribute to the development of the sales strategy and play a key role in shaping the future of the company.
  • Forecast accurately in HubSpot and assist in identifying potential sales targets and expansion opportunities in new markets.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record of success and history of quota attainment in start-up environment.
  • 5-8 years of experience selling research, data, and analytics products to mid market and enterprise companies in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Proven experience managing complex deal cycles valued between $40,000 and $200,000.
  • Strong technical understanding of the US Power markets and preferably experience selling solutions related to the energy transition, specifically targeting the Battery Energy Storage and renewable energy markets.
  • Experience working with Industry Experts who will be your primary pre-sales resource to strategize and shape the deal process.
  • Capable of demoing a Terminal and effectively showcasing its value during the sales process.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to be strategic and make an impact in a growing company.
  • Availability to travel for client meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other industry events as needed.
  • Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and self-motivate in an autonomous start-up environment.

Important Details:

  • For New York Applicants, the salary range for this position is 110k - 190k per year.
  • We work in a Hybrid Environment: You split your time between working from home and working in our New York City office (Tuesday - Thursday).
  • 25 days annual leave and your birthday off; medical, dental and vision benefits; 401k with optional matching contribution.
