Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role:

The Senior Manager of UX Design role will manage Venmo’s business profile design team to build and deliver the best possible payment experiences for Venmo merchants. You will act as a strategic thought leader, guiding your team to deliver flawless execution, committing to user-centered design practices, and ensuring that designs align with business goals by collaborating closely with your cross-functional peers.

About the Team:

The Venmo Business Profiles design pod is adjacent to Core Experiences and Consumer Financial Services. The team is responsible for experiences such as charge sheets, business profiles, Activities, and app modernization. We collaborate with user research and content design within the XD organization.

Your way to impact:

In this role at Venmo, you will guide your team in day to day design responsibilities, prioritize and size roadmap projects, partner with Product leads, socialize and get alignment from leadership, uplevel craft, and work in close collaboration with the Design Director.    

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Lead UX efforts within a cross-functional team, including strategic Influence on product direction, planning, participating in delivery, and presenting effectively to stakeholders up to the executive level. 

• Guide a team of product designers to build and deliver the best possible core experiences for Venmo consumers, championing best practices in process and methodology to deliver against business KPIs and customer needs 

• You will act as a strategic thought leader, guiding a team of product designers to deliver flawless execution while collaborating closely with your cross-functional peers to ensure that designs align with business goals. 

• You will be part of the Venmo design team that works across all end-to-end experiences for Venmo consumers and work closely with your product and engineering partners to inform and drive the strategy and roadmap.
